The Cherokee City-County Public Library is proud to annouce that coming soon to the library, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, for all children not yet enrolled in Kindergarten. Reading to preschool aged children builds vocabulary and language skills, establishes a love of books, and creates fond memories of reading together. Besides developing a love of reading, children will win rewards along the way!
This self-paced program is easy for parents and children. By reading just one book a day to your child, you will be able to reach 1000 books before the age of three. Children can join this program any time before Kindergarten enrollment.
